This policy explains how XBRTags B.V. uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, what each category does and how you can control them. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site remember things between pages and visits, such as your language choice. Similar technologies, such as the local storage of your browser, work in comparable ways, and this policy covers those too.
Under the Danish Cookie Order (Cookiebekendtgørelsen), the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR, strictly necessary cookies may be set without consent. Analytics cookies are only placed after you have given consent. When you first visit, we ask for your choice, and "Reject non-essential" carries the same weight as "Accept all". You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting your use of the site.
Required for the site and its forms to work: session security (form protection and CAPTCHA), remembering your cookie choice, and remembering your language selection between English and Danish. These cannot be switched off and set no marketing identifiers.
Help us understand which pages are read and where visitors struggle, so we can improve our guidance. Off by default and only active if you accept it. Reporting is aggregated and IP addresses are anonymised.
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
| Name | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Keeps your session so that form security tokens and CAPTCHA answers work. | Strictly necessary | Session |
| xt_consent | Remembers your cookie choice. | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
| xbrtags_lang_dk | Remembers your language choice (English or Danish), kept in your browser's local storage. | Strictly necessary | Until you clear your browser data |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics: aggregated usage measurement. Set only if analytics is enabled and you accept it. | Analytics | Up to 24 months |
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the map on our contact page comes from OpenStreetMap. Loading them sends your IP address to those providers, who handle it under their own policies. Where a provider processes personal data for us, a data processing agreement is in place and processing takes place within the EU or under an approved transfer mechanism. Client documents sent to us for tagging are never processed through website analytics.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings, also available in the footer of every page. You can also control cookies in your browser: every major browser lets you view, block or delete them, and offers a private mode that clears them when you close the window.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working, including the contact form and the language toggle. Blocking analytics cookies has no effect on the pages you can read or the services you can request.
There is no single agreed standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track signals. We rely instead on the consent choices you make here, which apply regardless of the signal your browser sends.
Where cookies process personal data, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR. Our Privacy Policy explains how to exercise them and how to complain to Datatilsynet.
We update this policy when the cookies we use change or when the law requires it. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be reflected in the consent options presented to you.
